The CS1-E Burr Free Electrochemical (ECG) Cutoff machine from Tridex Technology features completely burr-free cutting and very low cutting forces ideal for tubing and heat-sensitive alloys. It cuts at low temperatures producing no heat-affected zones on the part and no work hardening. The CS1-E delivers fast, precise cuts and long wheel life. The Electrochemical Grinding (ECG) process removes material with low cutting force increasing wheel life and providing a burr free, stress free part with no recast or heat affected zone. Improves production times by eliminating the need for secondary operations such as deburring, wire brushing, and tumbling. The filter system cleans the electrolyte fluid to minimize the post process part cleaning. The CS1-E features completely burr free cutting and very low cutting forces ideal for tubing and heat sensitive alloys. Stainless steel design is resistant to corrosion, debris, and provides for simple maintenance. Configurable as right or left handed allowing one operator to run multiple machines at once. Spindle motor is powered by a 7.5hp (5.6kw) servo motor. The highly precise feed system can be accurately positioned to .0004" (.01mm) and can reach transport speeds of 400"/min (10m/min).
