This is an irreplaceable tool in reconstruction operations and GBR (Guided Bone Regeneration) procedures. As a self-drilling screw, the thread design and sharp tip allow precise placement without prior drilling even in the cortical bone. Wide screw-head provides enough surface area to avoid membrane to tear or perforate. Screw pickup is easy thanks to a special cruciform design of the screw-head.
For excellent adaptation of the graft, the tenting screw is placed either prior to or following the placement of the graft. Then the membrane could be placed to isolate the graft during consolidation.
