Description

The INTEGRA™ stainless steel plate, combined with 3 cerclage wires, ensures a solid osteosynthesis of the trochanteric flap during total hip revisions. The plate reinforces the fragile bone of the flap and avoids the risk of sectioning the cerclages. It ensures the muscle-bone-implant cohesion of the upper extremity of the femur and neutralises the pullout forces in proximal traction of the gluteus medius. DESCRIPTION The shape of the hooks adapted to the greater trochanter anatomy with pointed ends able to be impacted in the bone. Thin non-protruding plate ensuring its proper tolerance; grooves maintaining the cerclages in proper position. Adapted to each patient, the plate comes in a single length that can be cut to the desired length. The malleable material allows the plate to conform to the shape of the femur.
