Implanting an anatomic prosthesis aims to reproduce the normal architecture of the shoulder. The aim is to position the humeral head anatomically, respecting size, height and position.
The ARAMIS™ standard cemented or cementless humeral stem (bilayer coating of titanium and hydroxyapatite) offers multiple settings to adapt perfectly to the patient’s anatomy. The humeral head will be ideally positioned, respecting anatomical values: retroversion, medial and posterior offset, CCD angle (angle of 132°/140° + double morse taper). The polyethylene glenoid with two pegs and a convex back preserves the glenoid bone stock and allows a head/glenoid mismatch of 5 mm.
DESCRIPTION
Ergonomic and compact instrumentation: one instrumentation set.
Double taper for an optimal response to the objectives of the anatomic prosthesis (16 settings).
The convex glenoid with two pegs guarantees preservation of bone stock particularly in the central part, to facilitate conversion to a reverse prosthesis.
Use of a mismatch of 5mm corresponding to ideal values as mentioned in the literature.
