The titanium alloy MBA™ anatomical monoblock femoral stem is intended for a cementless implantation. It responds to the desire to respect the anatomy of the patients and the morphology of the femoral bone and restores the biomechanics of the hip.
Its 12/14 taper allows for a wide selection of femoral heads: short, medium or long necks, in stainless steel or CoCr, in Ceralepine, in Biolox Delta alumina.
A bioactive titanium-hydroxyapatite bilayer coating is applied using a vacuum plasma spray technique with an excellent industrial control. It facilitates the anchoring of the stem and today has a notable track record.
DESCRIPTION
Optimal stem design, enlarged metaphysis and refined diaphyseal extremity.
Metaphyseal macrostructures providing excellent primary stability.
Stopping the coating on the lower portion to prevent any distal fixation.
Preferred transfer of stresses in the proximal area to maintain bone mass over time.
Simple and versatile instrumentation adapted to all surgical approaches.
