Cementless acetabular prosthesis CARGOS™

The titanium alloy CARGOS™ HAP Press Fit cup is a cementless acetabular replacement solution. To accelerate bone adhesion, a bioactive titanium-hydroxyapatite coating is applied using a vacuum plasma spray technique with an excellent industrial control. DESCRIPTION The cup has been designed to be used interchangeably (intraoperative decision) with: - a Biolox Delta ceramic insert made of high purity alumina secured by a conical assembly; - an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene insert, impacted by an indented crown. Its stability in rotation and tilting is ensured through equatorial fins and tropical spikes (HAP version) or additional screwing (HAP screw version). The cup assembly with the ceramic insert has been designed for use with a 36 mm diameter head from a size 50 to optimise joint stability.
