Rigorous, reliable real-time monitoring in a streamlined, easy-to-use sensor Purpose-built to monitor temperature and relative humidity, plus an additional dry contact input, the ViewPoint® Essentials Sensor merges convenience and simplicity with accuracy and versatility. The ViewPoint Essentials Sensor connects automatically and wirelessly to a ViewPoint 900 MHz Access Point to securely transmit temperature and relative humidity data to the ViewPoint Pro On-Prem or the ViewPoint Cloud Continuous Monitoring System. The additional binary switch input port permits monitoring of simple open closed / closed states, such as door status, in parallel. Sensor sampling and transmit rates are not fixed or static but easily configurable through the ViewPoint software application and Over-the-Air (OTA) communication or through a configuration cable connected to the mono jack outlet. Data Integrity and Redundancy The ViewPoint Essentials Sensor features a fault-tolerant file system for high-integrity data storage and buffering to prevent data loss or corruption during network or power disruptions. With available on-board memory of up to 4,000 time-stamped data points, all measurement data is logged locally and transmitted autonomously to ViewPoint software when communications are restored. Wireless communications are encrypted to ensure data integrity and security. In addition to local memory on the Essentials Sensor, each ViewPoint 900 MHz Access Point is capable of storing up to 30,000 data points, ensuring multiple points of redundancy. With an optimally tuned antenna, the Essentials Sensor can cover an extremely broad range of space. Multi-generational Compatibility
