The KaiBiLiTM Extended ViralTrans Saline is 0.85% Sodium chloride solution (0.85% NaCl solution) which can maintain osmotic balance, as well as provide cells with water and essential inorganicions. The KaiBiLiTM Extended ViralTrans Saline is suitable for collection and transport of clinical specimens. The system consists of a plastic, up-right tube with screw cap filled with universal transport medium, and with/without sterile swabs. Specimens need to be placed into the tube containing transport medium immediately after sample collection and submitted to the laboratory as soon as possible.
