The Coronavirus COVID-19 IgG/IgM Antibody Rapid Test (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG and IgM) to COVID-19 virus in whole blood, serum, or plasma.
PRINCIPLE
The Coronavirus COVID-19 IgG/IgM Antibody Rapid Test is for detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to COVID-19 virus. Anti-human IgG and anti-ligand are separately coated in the test line region 1 and region 2. During testing, the specimen reacts with COVID-19 antigen-coated particles in the test strip. The mixture then migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action and reacts with the anti-human IgG and the ligand anti-human IgM. COVID-19 IgG or IgM antibodies, if present in the specimen, reacts with the anti-human IgG in region 1 or the ligand anti-human IgM. The complex is captured and forming a colored line in the Test line region 1 or 2. The Coronavirus COVID-19 IgG/IgM Antibody Rapid Test contains COVID-19 antigen-coated particles. Anti-human IgG and anti-human IgM are coated in the test line regions.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The kit can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated (2-30°C). The Test Strip is stable through the expiration date printed on the sealed pouch. The Test Strip must remain in the sealed pouch until use. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not use beyond the expiration date. The stability of the kit under these storage conditions is 18 months.
Cautions
1.For in-vitro diagnostic use only.
2.Must not use kit beyond the expiration date.
3.Do not mix components from kits with different lot number.
4.Avoid microbial contamination of reagents.
