The FOB One Step Rapid Test is a rapid test to qualitatively detect low levels of fecal occult blood in feces. The test uses double antibody sandwich assay to selectively detect as low as 50ng/mL of hemoglobin.
A fecal occult blood (FOB) test is used as an early screening test for colorectal cancer. This test can also be used to aid in the diagnosis of other conditions of gastrointestinal problems that may cause hidden blood in the stool, such as ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures.
