PRODUCT NAME Common Name: Sample Preservation Solution INTENDED USE Hecin Sample Preservation Solution is designed to store samples containing infectious pathogens, protect DNA or RNA in samples for subsequent detections, while eliminating the infectivity of pathogens for biosafety. DETECTION PRINCIPLE Hecin Sample Preservation Solution contains guanidine salt of high-concentration and RNA/DNA protectant. Viruses (or other pathogens) in samples are instantaneously lysed and release nucleic acids in the solution. The unique composition protects released RNA and DNA from degradation by RNases and DNases. The samples in this preservation solution can be used for subsequent nucleic acid extraction normally, and are compatible with magnetic bead method nucleic acid extraction.
