Germicidal lamp are devices that serve for disinfection by using of ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm. Ultraviolet radiation can be described as an optical, electromagnetic, radiation with a wavelength of 100 nm to 1 mm. Their usage and effectiveness have been tested over decades of practical experience. In a closed room all the air gradually passes through the germicidal lamp, ensuring air disinfection in a defined space. The germicidal lamp MOPGL211 is indirectly radiating and can also be used in people’s presence without any risk. It is built to contain UVC light, as direct contact is harmful to humans. Thanks to the help of the two fans placed on the sides of the lamp, the air is channeled into the duct (made entirely of stainless steel) and purified by the UVC light present inside the channel. For greater safety and to ensure the use of the lamp in the presence of people, or living entities, the MOPGL211 has been designed to produce a minimum and non-harmful amount of ozone. The MOPGL211 can be hung from the ceiling or wall with the aid of the two stainless-steel hooks placed in the back of the lamp.
