The ultrasonic wound debridement is a medical equipment which is developed for complicated wound debridement by using ultrasonic cavitation effect and mechanical effect of high frequency vibration. Compared with normal debridement, the ultrasonic wound debridement system increases debridement efficiency, reduces damage to the normal tissue during debridement, eases patients’ pain, and is portable to move with swivel casters. The machine is designed with user-friendly features, allowing medical professionals to easily adjust the intensity and frequency of the ultrasonic waves based on the wound's size, depth, and type. It not only accelerates the debridement process but also stimulates the cells in the wound bed, promoting the growth of new tissue and enhancing the body's natural healing mechanisms.
Product Description
The Ultrasonic Wound Debridement Machine functions based on the unique properties of ultrasonic waves. It consists of a generator that produces high-frequency electrical signals and a transducer that converts these signals into ultrasonic vibrations. The transducer is usually attached to a handheld probe, which is placed directly over the wound. When activated, the ultrasonic vibrations travel through the probe and into the wound bed. These vibrations create microscopic cavitation bubbles in the wound exudate. As these bubbles collapse, they release intense energy that mechanically disrupts and emulsifies necrotic tissue, bacteria, and other debris. This process is highly selective, as it targets only the non-viable tissue while sparing the healthy surrounding tissue.
The combination of these two effects, cavitation and high-frequency vibration,
