HUBI hCG is quantitative determination of human Chorionic Gonadotrophin(hCG) in human whole blood or plasma.
hCG is a glycoprotein hormone secreted by the placenta shortly after implantation. In normal pregnancy, hCG can be detected in human specimen(whole blood, plasma, sérum, urine) as early as 7 to 10 days after fertilization.
The appearance of hCG in human specimens soon after conception, and its subséquent rapid rise in concentration during early gestational growth, make it an excellent marker for the early détection of pregnancy
