The Canine CDV GIA CCV CPV Antigen combo test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the differential diagnosis of canine distemper virus (CDV Ag), Giardia lamblia antigen (Giardia Ag), canine coronavirus antigen (CCV Ag) and canine parvo virus antigen (CPV Ag) in dog’s specimen.
Canine distemper (CDV) is a highly contagious Infectious disease with a mortality rate of over 80%. The causative agent is canine distemper virus, which is a single-stranded RNA virus. The natural hosts of the virus are canines and mustelidae, which are mainly transmitted through air and droplets. Sick dogs are an important source of infection and can detoxify through urine for a long time and pollute the surrounding environment.
Canine parvovirus (CPV), canine coronavirus (CCV) and Giardia (GIA) are all pathogenic factors of canine enteritis, which cannot be distinguished solely by clinical symptoms due to similar symptoms. This product can quickly differentiate and diagnose whether dogs are infected with canine parvovirus, canine coronavirus, or Giardia by immunochromatography on feces or vomit samples, so as to provide an effective basis for subsequent treatment.
