In order to relieve the weight on the patient's back when reclining, the bed includes a synchronous system. This means that the patient himself/herself generates a compensation distributing part of the weight from the back to the hip section. The split side guard rails incorporate bed inclination angle gauges, improving care delivery by continuously monitoring the patients position.
