BWA2.0 is the world’s first BIA device to use 3MHz to improve the accuracy of the measurement and it also enabled to accurately measure severe edema patients. Not only did this increase the accuracy but it also provided a way to add parameters such as Multi-reactance(5kHz, 50kHz, 250kHz), Multi-phase angle(5kHz, 50kHz, 250kHz), and Segmental Phase-Angle.
The BWA2.0 clamp electrode is made up of two forceps that can measure the impedance of the center and the distal part respectively. The difference between the two impedances can be used as clinical indicators for wrist and ankle swelling. The clamp electrode also has an indicator function that can be attached between the wrist and ankle bones, which provides high reproducibility.
To comprehensively analyze the InBody result sheets by different age groups, the BWA2.0 provides graphs by age group on certain parameters. The BWA2.0 is able to provide these graphs because over the years InBody has collected about 3,800,000 Body Composition data(Dec.12), in which we call the InBody Big Data.
In addition to the Clamp Electrodes and InBody Big Data, it also provides various optional parameters such Water Control Calculator-that can easily set the Target Body Weight, Segmental Body Composition Analysis, user friendly Body Composition Analysis, and results/references so that researchers can use these information to accurately and systematically diagnosis.
