Infections with the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) in swine are highly prevalent and economically important for the swine industry.
The pigtype PRRSV Ab is a specific and sensitive ELISA for detection of antibodies to Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) in swine samples. It is, thus, an effective test to monitor the vaccination or infection status of pig herds.
Allows for highly sensitive and specific detection of antibodies of EU and NA PRRSV strains in serum and plasma samples from pigs
Easy-to-use, short-step protocol for testing serum samples within 1.5 hours
Colored, ready-to-use reagents
Enables differentiation of weak from strong positive samples
Now available in France: a new version of the kit, the pigtype PRRSV Ab FPS was co-developed by INDICAL and BIOSELLAL. It allows for the detection of antibodies to Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV, in French SDRP: Syndrome Dysgénésique et Respiratoire Porcin) in individual serum and plasma (standard kit) as well as pooled serum/plasma, and individual and pooled filter paper (new). This new kit version is available only in France. For questions or to place an order please contact your local sales representative: Pauline.Ruggiero@indical.com.
