The small, portable Infrascanner Model 2000 handheld, screening device uses NIR technology for screening patients that are suspected of having intracranial bleeding. It then identifies patients who should have an immediate CT scan referral and/or neurosurgical intercession.
When head trauma patients are being triaged, the Infrascanner helps identify patients who may have intracranial bleeding.
It comes with sensor with optical detector and NIR diode eye safe laser, along with a cradle. The digitized detector signal is analyzed by an SBC in the sensor, which receives the information sent by the detector and then makes any necessary adjustments to provide optimum data.
