Inion CPS™ is our bioabsorbable answer for cranio-maxillofacial surgery. The fixation system contains a selection of resorbable plates, meshes and screws in different shapes and sizes. The Inion CPS™ product family includes also the Inion CPS™ Baby product line. Inion CPS™ implants have been optimized in terms of handling properties, strength and degradation characteristics to support a more natural healing process. The Inion CPS™ implants are made of bioabsorbable co-polymers composed of L-lactic acid, D-lactic acid and trimethylene carbonate. The Inion CPS™ Baby implants are composed of L-lactic acid, glycolic acid and trimethylene carbonate. These polymers have a long history of safe clinical use.
Inion CPS™ and CPS™ Baby are CE-marked medical devices (Class III), manufactured by Inion Oy. The conformity assessment was conducted by BSI The Netherlands (CE 2797).
