Description

CC DISK PEEK are polyetheretherketone discs used for milling fixed and removable dental prosthesis, abutments (where virtual library is available) and root posts. Extremely light, biocompatible and high-performance polymer PEEK (polyether ether ketone) material represents an alternative to classic metal denture bases and many other indications. A strong and resistant material that, due to its light weight and its ability to absorb loads, presents patients a completely new comfort. Advantages: • Tasteless. • It does not contain metals. • It absorbs chewing forces. • Highly stable at low weight. • No thermal or electrical conductivity. • Elasticity and strength are similar to human bone. • It can be sterilized in accordance with EN ISO 17665. • Very resistant to dental plaque, with an extremely smooth surface. • It is a Class IIa medical device that meets all relevant standards. • Extremely high flexural strength and resistance to wear and breakage. • It can also be processed intraorally, as this does not affect the structure of the material. • It can be individualized with known composite materials, such as Vita VM LC. • Biocompatible, wear-resistant and at the same time almost elastic like a human bone. • Due to its good friction properties, it is ideal as a replacement for galvanic technology. • The controlled industrial technical process ensures minimum material tension and best homogeneity. • Due to the ideal transmission of chewing forces, it is ideal for use over implants, as it absorbs chewing forces and promotes osseointegration. Indications: • 4-part bridge up to 2-pontics for posterior area • 6-part up to 2-pontics bridge anterior area • Partially removable
