The MICROSELD radiopaque arterial catheter can be used in any operation that requires continuous blood pressure monitoring where anesthesia and internal medicine is required and vessel damage and bleeding must be eliminated. This includes arteria radialis, arteria brachialis, and arteria femoralis. It measures and diagnoses and should be used for non-traumatic puncturing of peripheral arteries, which provides a safe and complication free positioning. It can monitor hear function, circulation, and lung function control. It can also be used in sampling of blood gas. The MICROSELD - PTFE should especially be used got long term monitoring of a catheter for more than 48 hours, because its used biocompatible Teflon materials help avoid deposition of any kind of blood ingredient, such as fibrin, erythrocytes, and leucocytes. The MICROSELD - PEBAX is produced without softeners and has a quality chemical resistance.
