A static air mattress with hygiene cover, automatic pump and interchangeable cells. OptiCell Gentle is a static air mattress system with an integrated foam core used for pain and high-risk patients and in the treatment of pressure ulcers up to and including category 3. The mattress has a height of 18 cm and comes with a removable welded hygiene cover with drip guard. The 13 cm high cells are easily replaceable. The mattress system has cells and cover that together provide a Low Air Loss function to reduce the risk of skin maceration while the cover is completely waterproof. OptiCell Gentle comes with an energy-efficient, silent pump, OC31, which is easy to use. Filling the mattress, which is placed directly on the bed base, normally takes about 15 minutes.
