The PR-1w Palmtop Raman spectrometer is a compact unit that contains a powerful 50 mW 785 nm laser, coupled to a high resolution spectrograph with CMOS detector. Compared to many of the commercially available Raman instruments, the PR-1w is a user-friendly Raman spectrometer that can be used by virtually anyone with minimal training. It can be used in many different environments, and variety of measurement concepts, such as in-line and in-situ measurements. With a comprehensive range of optional accessories, the PR-1w can be optimized for specific applications. System Features Simple Design & Operation Connect to a PC, start the software and press the probe against the sample - acquisition starts immediately from the measurement button; there is no need for detailed settings, such as optical axis adjustment or focus adjustment. Most Raman Systems typically can only measure down to around 400 cm1, but the PR-1 w Raman spectrometer can measure doser to the Rayleigh scatter down to 200 cm*1. This makes it possible to measure inorganic substances with peaks in the low wavenumber region. Comprehensive Data Processing & Spectral Analysis Spectra Manager™ Suite cross-platform spectroscopy software includes a wide variety of analysis functions as standard, such as wavenumber calibration, fluorescence correction, and intensity correction. Know It AII Informatics with spectra search of databases for the analysis and identification of up to 25,000 Raman spectra is also available as an option. Adjustable Focal Distance The focal position can be easily adjusted to change the measurement position from the surface to inside of the sample.
