The product is used for in vitro qualitative detection of the level of HCG in human urine.
Epidemiology
HCG is a glycoprotein secreted by the trophoblast cells of the placenta, which is composed of glycoproteins of α and β dimers. After a few days of fertilization, HCG begins to secrete. With the trophoblast cells produce plenty of HCG, they can be discharged into urine through blood circulation. Therefore, the detection of HCG in urine samples can be used for the auxiliary diagnosis of early pregnancy.
