Intended Use
The kit is intended for the in vitro qualitative detection of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG) and Trichomonal vaginitis (TV) in male urethral swab, female cervical swab, and female vaginal swab samples, and provide aid to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with genitourinary tract infections.
Epidemiology
Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) is a kind of prokaryotic microorganism that is strictly parasitic in eukaryotic cells. Chlamydia trachomatis is divided into A-K serotypes according to the serotype method. Urogenital tract infections are mostly caused by trachoma biological variant D-K serotypes, and males are mostly manifested as urethritis, which can be relieved without treatment, but most of them become chronic, periodically aggravated, and can be combined with epididymitis, proctitis, etc.
