Using only a compression sleeve to treat the arm is not always sufficient. It can also be beneficial to apply compression to the entire upper body, particularly in the cases of scars or edemas in the shoulder area. Thorax bandages are often required for lymphological disorders or scar therapy. These bandages are tailor made to the individual patients measurements, and the flat-knitted areas provide a millimeter-accurate compressive action, which reduces scarring. Juzo has developed special thorax bandages for large-area burns and scalding on the upper body. These can, if necessary, be attached to pantyhose. All Juzo thorax bandages, in particular the Expert and Expert Silver grades, are manufactured from flat-knitted fabrics. Compression body suits are also available.
