Compression treatment for the face
Lymph therapy
Puffiness in the facial area can be treated using compression method. Lymphedema is a common symptom particularly formed in the face which occurs after any operation, or in the case of particular cancer illnesses. After manual lymph drainage, decongestive state can be maintained using compression garments.
Aesthetic scar healing
Followed by burns or scalds, treatment of scars can be assisted using facial technique. After wound closure becomes stable, compression therapy can be started. Only then aesthetic scar healing will be beneficial.
Before undergoing compression to the face, it should be noted that pads are placed between the compression garment and the concave areas of the nose or eyes. This will eradicate targeted compression in those areas.
