Description

【Detection purpose】 Feline N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (Feline NT-proBNP) is a substance secreted by myocardial cells in the cats ventricle, which can be used as a detection indicator for corresponding heart failure. The concentration of fNT-proBNP in the blood is related to the severity of the disease. Therefore, NT-proBNP can not only assess the severity of acute and chronic heart failure, but also serve as an indicator of its prognosis. 【Det ection principle】 This product uses fluorescence immunochromatography to quantitatively detect the content of NT-proBNP in cat serum/plasma. The basic principle is as follows: There are T line and C line on the nitrate fiber membrane. The T-line is coated with an antibody A that can specifically recognize the NT-proBNP. On the binding pad is another antibody B, fluorescently labeled with a nanomaterial, which also binds to NT-proBNP. NT-proBNP in the sample and antibody B form a combination and then chromatography. The complex reaches the T-line and binds to antibody A to form a sandwich structure. Under the excitation light, nano-material reflect fluorescence signal, and the strength of the signal is positively correlated with the concentration of NT-proBNP in the sample.
