Description

This product uses fluorescence immunochromatography to quantitatively detect the content of cTT4 in cat serum/plasma. Basic principle: T and C lines are marked on the nitrocellulose membrane, the T line is coated with cTT4 antigen a, and the binding pad is sprayed with a fluorescent nanomaterial labeled antibody b that can specifically recognize cTT4. The cTT4 in the sample is first labeled with the nanomaterial. The antibody b binds to form a complex, and then chromatographs upward. The complex competes with T-line antigen a and cannot be captured; On the contrary, when there is no cTT4 in the sample, antibody b binds to antigen a. When the excitation light is irradiated, the nano material emits a fluorescent signal, and the strength of the signal is inversely proportional to the concentration of cTT4 in the sample. Detailed 【Test Purpose】 T4 is the main product of thyroid secretion, and it is also an indispensable component of the integrity of the hypothalamic-anterior pituitary-thyroid regulatory system. It increases the basal metabolic rate and plays an important role in the development of all body cells. T4 is stored in thyroid follicles in combination with thyroglobulin, and secreted and released under the regulation of TSH. More than 99% of T4 in serum exists in the form of binding to other proteins. Testing for total T4 in a blood sample can tell if your thyroid is functioning abnormally.
