The product uses fluorescence immunochromatography to quantitatively detect the FIV Ab content in cat serum/plasma. Basic principle: T and C lines are drawn on the nitrocellulose membrane, and the T line is marked with a secondary antibody that specifically recognizes cat IgG . Antigens labeled with fluorescent nanomaterials that can specifically recognize FIV Ab are sprayed on the binding pad . The FIV Ab in the sample first combines with the antigen labeled by the nanomaterial to form a complex, and then goes up the chromatography. The complex is captured by the T-line antibody . When the excitation light is irradiated, the nanomaterial emits a fluorescent signal, and the signal intensity is the same as that of the FIV in the sample. Ab concentration was positively correlated.
Detailed
【Detection purpose】 Feline Immunodeficiency Virus ( FIV ) is a disease caused by AIDS in cats . In terms of structure and nucleotide sequence, it is related to the HIV virus that causes AIDS in humans. It also often produces clinical symptoms of immunodeficiency similar to human AIDS, but FIV in cats is not transmissible to humans. Therefore, reliable and effective detection has a positive guiding role in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
