This product uses fluorescence immunochromatography to quantitatively detect the content of FHV in cat Eye, mouth, and nose secretions. Basic principle: there are T and C lines on the nitrocellulose membrane, and the T-line is coated with antibody a which can specifically recognize FHV antigen. Another fluorescent nanomaterial labeled antibody that can specifically recognize FHV is sprayed on the binding pad. From B, the FHV in the sample first combines with the antibody B labeled with the nanomaterial to form a complex. Then, the complex binds to the T-line antibody A to form a sandwich structure. When the excitation light is irradiated, the nano material emits a fluorescence signal, and the intensity of the signal is in positive phase with the concentration of FHV.
Detailed
【Test Purpose】 Feline Herpes Virus (FHV) Antigen testing is conducted for the purpose of diagnosing feline herpesvirus infection in cats. Feline herpesvirus is a highly contagious viral infection that affects cats, primarily causing respiratory and ocular symptoms. The FHV Antigen test aims to detect the presence of viral antigens in samples, typically taken from nasal or ocular secretions.
