The RapidSeq 126 System with CE approved is a real-time nucleic acid amplification and detection system which measures nucleic acid signals based on lab-on-chip in 25-45 min. The RapidSeq 126 System – How It Works The RapidSeq126 System is an automated in vitro diagnostic (IVD) system that utilizes real-time PCR analysis to detect and identify multiple nucleic acid targets from clinical specimens. The system offers unmatched ease-of-use with just two minutes of hands-on time and results in about an hour. The operator loads the sample into a reagent pouch, places the pouch into the RapidSeq126 Torch Module, and starts the run. The RapidSeq126 Torch Module interacts with the reagent pouch to extract nucleic acids from the sample and to amplify pathogen specific DNA/RNA sequences that are targeted by the assays. The resulting PCR products are automatically determined and presented by the RapidSeq126 Software in a test report.
