This super lightweight yet sturdy aluminium underarm crutch is intended for people with mobility problems, after injuries or operations, when additional support is required when walking. The crutch is suitable for a user with a height of approximately 135-155 cm and weighing up to 120 kg. The set includes a rubber tip and an integrated reflector in the front part. Supports for armpits and palms are padded and can be replaced in case of wear. The height of this crutch can be adjusted with a button, at intervals of 2.5 cm. To properly choose the height of the crutch measure the distance from the floor to the armpit – the height of the crutch should be 3–5 cm less than the distance between the floor and the armpit. If you use one crutch, it is advisable to keep it on the side of the body where the weaker or injured leg is located. If crutches are used as an additional guarantee of stability, they can be held in any hand. In both cases, when walking, the crutches are held on the sides, firmly touching the ground with two points (e.g. one leg and a crutch). Each aluminium underarm crutch is checked in the factory, so only a quality product reaches the user. It is recommended to store the crutch in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, to wet clean it periodically without using aggressive cleaners, or to cover it.
