The Kingsway SENTRY door solution provides a full-door edge ligature alarm system which activates and alerts clinical teams when a ligature is trapped against any of the door edges. Lifesaving technology in action! Doors have long been the last unsolved ligature risk, as service-users have become more challenging in the ways they look to harm themselves and others around them. Our SENTRY full-door edge ligature alarm system is designed to lower this risk level and support clinical teams in improving safety of those in their care. Unlike other products in the market the SENTRY complete door system is available with a Free Swing Transom Closer (concealed in the frame head), meaning whilst the door acts like a standard door with no resistance from a mechanical closer mechanism, if a fire alert takes place the door power is cut and automatically closes at a controlled rate, ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations. Key Features The SENTRY door is the UK's first complete door system with full-door edge ligature alarm. The intelligent door alarm system is automatically triggered when a weight of 7kg or more is applied vertically or horizontally to the door top; or if a delay is identified to the door edge, or across the door bottom. An adjustable delay to the alarm trigger, of up to seven seconds, prevents nuisance and false alerts ensuring that clinical staff are correctly alerted as soon as a ligature trapping incident occurs.
