The STOW door system is used in patient en-suite bathroom areas to provide a door that can be 'stowed' away into a secondary frame to allow increased patient observation and reduce risk from the moving door if decided by the clinical team.
The STOW door can be supplied with a Door Top Ligature monitor for added patient safety and in normal use allows the patient to close and lock the door to maintain privacy and dignity.

STW01_90 STOW door system with 90 degree fold-away frame
STW01_180 STOW door system with 180 degree fold-away frame
Feature 1
STOW door system in the standard closed position - this is often used in patient en-suite areas and gives excellent privacy and diginity. Staff can also lock the door if the en-suite is out of order.
Feature 2
If the clinical assessment decides that the door needs to be secured then the STOW door can be folded back into the secondary frame.

When the STOW door system is locked in the secondary frame if allows the patient use of the en-suite area and gives staffs increased observation without the risk of the moving door leaf.
