AXIS brand containers with automatic cartridge activators allow automatic activation of the EO cartridges (AR series) used in the oxide sterilization peculiar to the gas diffusion system without external human control and intervention. Automatic removal of the residual ethylene oxide from the sterilized materials at the end of the sterilization process provides safe use of the ethylene oxide without posing any danger to human health. The invention also eliminates the requirement for the use of sterilization bags known as Liner Bags or simply bags which are traditionally used in ethylene oxide sterilization based on a gas diffusion system. The system allows instant monitoring of the sterilization conditions inside the container from the glass sterilization cell, without the need to open the container. The system reduces total sterilization and aeration to a total of 6 hours and provides a fast and safe sterilization process with the help of EO which also proves its effectiveness day by day.
