The healing with the application of low temperatures can be carried out generally on the whole surface of the body (whole-body cryotherapy) or locally, on a choosen part of the body. The local cryotherapy consists in the application of the temperature of ca. -150°C on a choosen part of the body. This kind of treatment is used in order to evoke and make use of a local physiological reaction of the body to cold temperatures, which supports primary treatment of diseases and mobility disfunctions.
