Acetabular fractures are common fractures encountered in veterinary surgery and are considered complex and often go with multiple other injuries. Acetabular fractures in dogs or cats often result in degenerative joint disease (secondary arthrosis), and optimal repair reduces the severity and consequences of this condition. A specialty plate tailored to the need of the animal will provide a simpler solution to a complex problem.
Curved shape
The C-shaped plate closely matches the shape of the acetabulum eliminating the need for contouring.
Increased safety
The fixed direction of the plate holes directs the screws away from the articular surface. It allows using the normal access of a Hip Replacement Surgery.
Simplification of the application and your inventory
