ALPS-II plates are multipurpose Advanced Locking Plate Systems (ALPS) used for bone plating. They are second-generation locking plates based on ALPS® Technology and are an integral part of the ALPS® Product Range.
ALPS-II is available in two versions:
ALPS-II is a standard plate available in a wide range of sizes ideal for simple repairs and complex repairs requiring extensive contouring.
ALPS-IIS is an extra strong plate available in a wide range of sizes ideal for repairs requiring extra strength or where double plating is not feasible.
ALPS-II plates are designed to meet the needs of veterinary professionals:
Shape it. With ALPS-II, contouring in three dimensions with one single tool makes simple repairs ideal and complex repairs possible.
Anchor the way you want it. Monocortical and bicortical locking, compression or angulated KLS™ with beads and fixed-angle anchoring – everything is possible.
Faster and easier to use. Anchoring by KLS™ is easy, fast and safe.
Think about your inventory.
Small and medium ALPS-II and ALPS-IIS plates can be cut to the desired length – no need to have all lengths in stock. Large plates are available in various lengths.
Using KLS™ allows you to use the same screws for multiple procedures, saving space and money.
All ALPS plates use ALPS® Technology, which includes a unique design to preserve the vascular supply, reduce the risk of infection and accelerate healing.
Minimize vascular damage to both periosteum and endosteum
Allow adaptation in both planes yet exceed the strength of conventional plates
Accept both regular and locking screws in all holes
Use biocompatible titanium and titanium alloys
