With up to 198 individually ventilated cages (IVC) per system, RAIR HD World Cage 500™ Racks hold mouse populations of up to 990 adult mice in less than 1.7 square meters per ventilated rack. A 77.5 sq. in. (500 sq cm) cage floor area accommodates up to 5 adult mice per cage, complying with both EUROGUIDE and the (ILAR) Guide recommended space for commonly housed laboratory rodents. The design delivers low velocity HEPA filtered air to each cage while capturing cage effluent air. Cage air is prevented from entering the room and room air from entering cages, protecting both animals and personnel. The innovative World Cage 500™ Micro-Isolator® cage is designed with minimal components for simplifying handling, reducing inventory and increasing productivity. Observe animals with an unobstructed view of cage interiors, without having to remove cages from a rack.
