The Exposure Notification supplements the Radiation Dosimetry Report and is generated at the same time. GENERAL FACTS • Purpose: The Exposure Notification is generated every time one or more of the dosimeters in your account exceeds the dose value threshold that Landauer has saved for your account. • The default threshold values for the notification are set at 20% of the regulatory limits (e.g. DDE, LDE, SDE) for any given wear period, or 50% of the regulatory limit year-to-date. • Other threshold value levels for early notification can be set at an account and subaccount level. Levels cannot be set for a participant. • The report is generated automatically if any of the assigned doses from the Radiation Dosimetry Report read above the threshold level or the accumulated dose is greater than the threshold. • The report is sent by email or fax to the account representative. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Will I still receive my Radiation Dosimetry Report? Yes, the Exposure Notification is supplemental to the Radiation Dosimetry Report and is generated at the same time. How are the Default Override Levels set? The Default Override Levels are set at 20% of the annual limit for a specific wear date and 50% of the annual limit for year to date value. The notification levels can be customized to what is most appropriate for your account.
