GENERAL FACTS • Purpose: The Multiple Employer Total Exposure Report (METER) summarizes the doses received by participants at different facilities and is provided to assist the customer with compliance with State and Federal regulation. • METER helps to ensure that a specific employee has not exceeded the legal limit. The reported doses are intended as a flag, not a definitive history. • The participant’s full Social Security Number must be on file for all accounts to reflect the accumulated dose. • If a participant is monitored by a dosimeter not provided by Landauer, the resultant exposure will not be included on this report. • The report is generated monthly. • The report is generated and mailed to the primary reporting address listed at the account level. In order to add the participant to the METER, the participant must be active both at your facility, and a separate facility and have a full Social Security Number on file for both facilities.
