Preparation Wash hands and remove accessories in the test kit.. Tear off the sealing film on the upper part of the tube. 2. Sample collection Gently hold the swab and insert the swab into one nostril of the patient. The swab tip should be inserted up to 2.5 cm(l inch) from the edge of the nostril. Roll the swab 5 times or more along the mucosa inside the nostril. Using the same swab, repeat this process for other nostril. 3.Sample Treatment Insert the swab into the tube as soon as possible, slowly squeeze near the bottom of the Sample Extraction Tube 5 times, each lasting 2 seconds. Remove the Swab while squeezing the bottle of the tube to remove the liquid from the swab. Press the cap firmly onto the tube containing the processed sample. 4.Test Hold the extraction tube vertically and add 4 drops of treated sample into the sample port. INTERPRETATION OF RESULT The presence of two lines- the blue control line (C) and the red test line (T) - both within the result window indicates a positive result. Any faint of color in the test line région (T) should be considered positive. You may be to follow the relevant State or Territory health authority advice. 2.Negative The presence of only a blue control line (C) within the result window indicates a négative resuit. Negative results should be treated as presumptive only and may not mean you are not infectious. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you will be recommended to seek immediate further laboratory PCR testing.
