Optimized for applications that demand ultra-low power, low heat and small size, the 3-Port Latching HDI solenoid valve is ideal for compact, battery-operated portable instruments. This magnetically latched valve requires only momentary (10 to 30 ms) pulses to switch to and remain in each state, resulting in energy consumption of only 5.5 mJ per switch. The polarity of voltage on the terminal pins controls the switched position. Standard part numbers for the Conventional and Lo-Lohm 3-Port Latching Plug-In style valves are listed below. The valves are offered in a variety of different flow rate ranges, seal materials and drive voltage configurations.
