Biopsy cassette IP ActivFlo III

Product overview
IP ActivFlo Biopsy III cassettes are two-piece biopsy cassettes engineered for histology workflows. The patented Fluidic Flow pore geometry (0.26 mm) secures very small tissue fragments while maximising reagent exchange during processing. Cassettes are compatible with the Leica IP C Cassette Printer and offer a 45° writing surface for reliable labeling.

Design and application
The cassettes feature sloped internal walls that form a basket to stabilise small tissue samples and reduce sample loss, eliminating the routine need for biopsy bags or sponges. The two-piece design with a back hinge enables secure closure and straightforward manual or automated handling in pathology labs.

Packaging and colors
Available in loose and taped formats for easy loading into cassette printers and processors. Taped variants are typically supplied in cases of 1000; selected loose variants are supplied in cases of 500. Eleven colour options support sample identification and workflow organisation.
