How does a personal air purifier work Normal air purifiers are used indoors to purify the entire space. A mobile, personal air purifier creates a personal clean air zone directly around your face. Although the 6GCool is small in size, it packs a bunch thanks to the patented 4-phase 6G filtration technology. Tested performance The 6GCool has been independently tested by the international testing laboratory SGS, Aalto University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. According to SGS’s tests, the purification rate is up to 99.99% per one cubic meter (viruses), with PM2.5 filtration being over 99% and bacteria elimination over 90%. SGS also determined that the device does not produce harmful ozone. Chargeable battery, replaceable filter The 6GCool comes with a rechargeable battery lasting 4–8 hours in consecutive use. Replacing the filter regularly is crucial to maintaining optimal performance. The replaceable HEPA filter with silver nano-coating lasts for 4–6 weeks of daily use, and even longer for irregular use. There is no need to replace the PECO filter.
