DeFix® is a Radiopaque, PMMA-based bone cement with antibiotic or standard variants. It is used in a wide variety of medical procedures, such as joint replacements or cataract surgeries in the eyes.
While the prosthetic bonds the joint and bone together, it remains flexible enough to allow movement and absorb forces acting on the body. It is also used to reshape lost bone and fill gaps in bones.
