- Screw-ribbon mixer - Wear protection Application: Abrading medium industry The cylindrical trough of this mixer has a centralmounted mixing shaft, and can be filled up to about 30-70% of its total capacity, depending on the particular mixture. The specific circumferential velocity and arrangement of the tools produce a whirl which keeps the whole mixture in constant motion, so qualitative objectives can be met even in presence of challenging constellations and sophisticated mixing ratios. In addition, it is possible to install high speed choppers. For cleaning purposes, our mixers provide service hatches, which can only be opened once the mixer and any chopper shafts have been brought to a complete halt, in order to provide a maximum of safety for your personnel. Optionally, the cleaning components and service hatches are also avaliable as electropneumatic variants.
