- Mixing vessel with bottom outlet
During the mixing process the two vertical mixing arms move in planetary motion along the vessel wall while at the same time rotating around their own axis at a faster speed as a result of the planetary gearing ratio. The standard wing type mixing tools are rotating around their own axis in the same direction as the planetary drive. However, the shear blade mixing arms are rotating around their own axis, but in the opposite direction of the planetary drive.
This design is based on the LINDEN planetary mixers. The difference of the two machines is the presence of a high-speed dissolver shaft with separate drive in the position of one of the planetary arms. This eccentric dissolver shaft moves with the planetary drive in the mixing vessel and rotates around its own axis at a significantly higher speed.
Every planetary mixer, planetary dissolver and butterfly mixer can be customised to meet specific requirements. They can be manufactured from various special materials, providing different heating- or cooling solutions, as well as a variety of discharging machanisms. Furthermore, the interior surface of the vessel may be sanded, a large variety of drive motors are available, mixers can be adjusted to operate in a vacuum, and all devices can be outfitted with thermal sensors and additional overlapping low-torque mixing arms with higher effective rpm ranges.
